Hodor the Dog needs a home
Hodor is a gorgeous Lab mix who loves to play tug, fetch and to be with people. He's still young and learning that being gentle gets him further than being rough and tumble. Hodor loves people and enjoys playing tug and fetch. He also likes to stay close by his caregivers while hiking around the dog park. Born in 2015, Hodor came to the Sanctuary from a small rural shelter. He has a tendency to be jumpy and mouthy when people enter his yard or his room, and he still thinks that anything and everything is a chew toy.Hodor arrived at Best Friends overweight at 99 pounds. He is on a prescription diet for weight loss, and his diet and exercise routine is already helping. Hodor has done well with all dogs he's met at the Sanctuary. He's also doing great with his training, which includes learning how to keep all four of his feet on the floor, to go to his " place? and to drop toys on cue. With continued training, he'll make a wonderful addition to an active home.
